Cape Cod activist, RON BEATY, advises:

"FIGHT SELECTMAN MARY PAT FLYNN'S PROPOSED TAX INCREASE!"

Attention: Falmouth taxpayers, businesspersons, property owners and voters!

Falmouth Selectman (and County Commissioner) Mary Pat Flynn wants to raise your property taxes!

Read this recent Falmouth-Patch article:
Town May Seek Prop 2 1/2 Override

...and also check out this new poll on the proposed property tax increase:
PATCH POLL: Should Falmouth Seek a Prop 2 1/2 Override?

In addition, please be advised that Falmouth Selectman (and Barnstable County Commissioner) Mary Pat Flynn has failed to sign a "Taxpayer Protection Pledge." The pledge provides a measure of good faith by elected public officials and political candidates to the taxpayers of their respective local geographical areas and to all people within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Furthermore, it clearly indicates that they shall oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes during their tenure in office. This is what Mary Pat Flynn has failed to promise to the people of Falmouth and Cape Cod!!!

...so, the two best short-term things that Falmouth residents, business people, voters and taxpayers can do for themselves are: 1.) Fight against and reject the upcoming Proposition 2 1/2 Override Referendum later this year, AND, do NOT re-elect Mary Pat Flynn as Barnstable County Commissioner!!!

Good luck, friends!

Sincerely yours,

RON BEATY
